Fully Fashioned Stockings are sized to the height and shoe size of the wearer and as such have little stretch in them as they have no lycra contained in the yarn.  We stock Gio Fully Fashioned Stockings which are made and hand finished at the Gio factory located in Derbyshire England having been made using original "Reading" machines once owned by Aristoc and supplied by the Reading Corporation based in 1950's Pennsylvania USA.  Only a few of these vintage machines are still in service in the world today but with much loving care and attention Gio's machines are still working to the same exacting standards as ever.  And by using the traditional skills and techiques the result is an impeccably elegant and timeless look.
